Project Manager/Producer
Once–Future Office is seeking a Project Manager/Producer to join our collaborative and thoughtful creative team. Come work in our impactful design studio and orchestrate our team and clients through all phases of diverse projects, from identities to websites, books, exhibitions, and environments.

As an integral part of our team, the Producer/Project Manager’s primary responsibilities are in daily project and client management related to team/vendors, schedules, proposals, contracts, budgets, responsiveness, and client satisfaction. The Producer/Project Manager also supports our studio’s overall short and long term operational goals and strategies, ensures that our day-to-day operations are running smoothly and that, operationally and financially, we continue to evolve and adapt to changing needs.

30% Client management
30% Project and staffing management
15% Executional support
15% Support new business development
10% General studio and operational responsibilities


  • Extraordinarily organized, detail-oriented, and a generally nice person to work with. 

  • Write elegantly, communicate clearly, and can win over even the toughest crowds. 

  • Deftly manage schedules, budgets, and people. 

  • Understand the creative process and how designers think (if you have both left and right brain skills, even better, but please note that this position is not a design role). 

  • Graceful under pressure, yet comfortable with forging relationships and having hard conversations with clients and vendors.

  • A quick study who loves spreadsheets and technical knowledge

  • Versatile, flexible, and willing to jump in to help get things done.


  • 2–3 years experience in a similar organizational role, ideally within a small to mid-size creative environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience or interest in proposal writing, working with fabricators and vendors, and/or in using Adobe Creative Suite and/or CRM tools. 

  • Architecture or environmental design background and/or experience working on signage/wayfinding projects is a plus.
